Otto's poodle parlour

Introducing my pride and joy master Otto Oscar Humphry Spencer my pomeranian. I got him age 15 and have been inseparable ever since. Yesterday Otto made a visit to Harrods Pet spa for his monthly groom. This place is like the ritz of the animal kingdom, its hilarious. But to give them credit they actually do a swanking good job.

The process is interesting you meet someone at door entrance number 3 are escorted with an entourage of pet spa therapists who wear all black. Andrew is my personal favorite and Otti's personal hair stylist. The full groom lasts 2 hours and my word he looks so pampered on collection fully equipped with a large green ribbon in his collar and a pupcake as a going away gift, bless. I do feel like a school mother though, fearing that someone will come up to me explain that he was awfully behaved, snapped at everyone and can never come back...woops. This has actually happened before, the Spencer tribe are barred from pet pavilion on Notting Hill Gate.

The treatment list is worth a look http://www.harrods.com/GlobalPages/EventArticle.aspx?Id=504a890a-a6a5-40ab-a277-606890dc7c76 pooches are offered reki massages, lavender facials, one to one fitness training! I was definitely a Harrods dog in my previous life.

Leisurely strolls are also very much encouraged in the pet Kingdom articulately Mungo and Maud, who is my personal favorite. Everything looks so elegant I have my eye on a cable knit cashmere sweater.
