Goddess of design will always be Stella for me.

I find that everyone draws themselves to a certain style and era of time. I have always though of myself being part of the russian revolution, delicate yet flamboyant fabrics, feminine, unique all of these qualities I find in the creativity of Stella McCartney's work. She has such a beautiful attitude as well from what it appears behind the scene's. I have never met her but have heard such wonderful things.

She developed an interest in the fashion industry at around 13 an interned for Bruce Oldfield (who ironically I interned for also) and Christian Lacroix. Stella had huge impact by her years working for tailors in Saville Row, this is why I find her suits some of the best available, extraordinarily elegant. Her youth then followed onto studying at Central St Martins, where she graduated with images of her work as front page news.

lacto-ovo-vegetarian, McCartney does not use fur or leather in her designs and supports PETA People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Some of McCartney's designs have text that elaborates on her "no animal" policy; for example, one of her jackets for Adidas says, "suitable for sporty vegetarians" on the sleeve. She does use wool, silk, and other animal-derived fabrics in her designs.
In March 1997 McCartney was appointed Creative Director of Paris fashion house ChloĆ© following in the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld. Lagerfeld was less than impressed with the house's choice, famously stating,"ChloĆ© should have taken a big name. They did, but in music, not fashion. Let's hope she's as gifted as her father." Despite initial skepticism, McCartney's designs have enjoyed considerable commercial and critical success. I for one adored her Chloe collection years and was broken hearted when she passed her position over to Phoebe Phillito.

2001 was the year she resigned in order to enter into an eponymous joint venture with Gucci. Her boss being the god send Tom Ford. The line has four stores; one in New York City which opened September 2002, one in Mayfair, London, which opened April 2004, one in Los Angeles which she opened on her birthday in September 2005 and included an expansion into the perfume market, and most recently one in Hong Kong, which opened in 2008. In 2009, Stella launched a store in Paris in the heart of the Jardins du Palais Royal.
Stella now puts all her passion into her own line, which embodies all the things I love about clothes. Its danger ground me entering her store.
