I miss Christmas but am so excited for 2011 to really kick off, I hope you all had a wonderfully wacky New Years and have many resolutions to fulfil. I for one have many one of which is to take time away from life and sit down painting, drawing or my personal favourite sewing. Im currently working on a tapestry handbag...it might be a pillow though I have not yet quite decided. Whatever it will be Im sure it will be fabulous. Liberty do some great little kits perfect for holiday especially the dreaded flight if it is a long haul. I choose to purchase my sets from the gorgeous Tapisserie on Walton street. This quaint little shop offers such a huge range of needle works from chairs, slippers (my brother is begging me for a pair on his 21st), pillows, handbags, christmas ornaments...so on. It is such a therapeutic thing to sit down with a cup of tea and sew. I hope my piece goes well Im posting it up once I find internet connection on the beautiful island Im currently on.... and once I do please please offer advice as to which handbag or cushion you think the leopard would suit.
