GaGa FOR MINXED NAILS

This weekend I decided to treat myself.... a morning at GLOW beauty spa in Motcombe Street to become minxified. This is not the first time I have encountered minx nails but the second. In early June the girl who actually invented the new phenomenon arrived at my front door with a peroxide blonde mohawk and incredibly punky attire. I must admit I was a little intimidated but after a cup of tea and a chilled chat she turned out to be lovely :) Indulging me on her travels with the beauty revelation her current top clients include Beyonce, Fergie and Lady GaGa. I WISH I had come up with the invention earlier which brings me randomly to thinking about wire coat hangers, please inform me who came up with this? I find it baffling. The idea behind minx nails is the annoyance of waiting for nails to dry, chipping and smudged, which is a serious dislike I behold. Throughout the process you heat up little strips of foil fitted to each nail bed and heat gently until it becomes limp then placing it firmly on top of the bed pressing down and removing any excess foil. Vwalla! Simple!

The amount of comments you succumb to is out of the ordinary. As I lunched at Ottolengi on Saturday (a personal favorite) the women swarmed around the already cramped circular table grabbing hold of each hand as the men in between grunted much too fascinated by the oh so fascinating weekend newspapers.

GLOW offers it at £30 same price as a mani, it takes only 30 minutes and lasts 4-5 weeks.
