Abstract expressionism

I have just completed a project for my 2DIS studies and the from the majority of our semester being focused on black and white it was a true dream come true when we began working with color.
I cannot say my style is abstract but I do have a soft spot for artists such as Mark Rothko and Salvatore Dali..mostly influenced by Marion's LOVE for Dali.

I worked on 6 abstract hand paintings and 6 digital using photoshop. The key was the color wheel..I started off using only magenta, Cyan and yellow. The objective was to achieve Monochromatic, Analogous, Complementary, Split Complementary,Triad, Diad, a high contrast, low contrast and normal contrast.....

It's interesting to see how much these color hues influence the fashion industry...
