Le Lirodou

Although it may be hard to accept looking out my window here in the depths of London. The pitter patter on my window from the rain, it's beginning to be a little more than irritating. I was in France last weekend celebrating the Diamond Jubilee, under the sunshine which covers the Riviera.

I am very interested in Interior Design and look to my Mother as a huge source of inspiration, her taste is feminine, classic and she will always manage to make our home look in some way her own. Photographs of the family, books I can re call her reading from my childhood, china which belonged to my Grandmother.....

Le Lirodou is where I really feel at home, the kitchen is the centre piece of the house, gatherings occur and the large stone table outside where many a dinner party has taken place.

A bedroom in particular should have certain touches which make them your own.

Our next door neighbors in Suffolk and great great family friends the Farghers are a wonderfully creative family. Tim the centre piece of the family embodies all that a brilliantly intelligent traditional englishman can be. He is also a fabulous artist and has created some wonderful painting's for the house. One of his most prominent pieces in my eyes is the way he secretly customized my dressing table mirror with my initials and a crown.

My Dressing table has all the essential's cluttered in an orderly fashion...through my eyes. There will always be an arrangement of different scents particularly Emilio Pucci's which is my signature summer smell.
