Girl meets dress

Its a predicament I've been struggling with for a while, what to wear from my brothers 21st? Its coming up in June the day after my birthday and I fully admit to taking theese things extremely seriously. The theme seems to be 'Mad Men', which I embaressingly have not yet picked up despite the fuming reviews passed my way. So unless I begin avidly watching it, which my art tutor will most probably push to the side as it takes time away from the things I should be doing at the moment. Im just going to take things in my stride and wear what I please from my inspration of the moment. I am however desperately into the idea of having a 1960's ciggarette holder?

The contenders are: the most beutiful Chloe ballerina skirt, it feels so soft almost too soft Im terrified of it catching on something or the possibility of someone spilling a drink anywhere near me makes me wince from inside. It's currently in the window of Sloane Streets Chloe I pass it on a day to day basis dreaming in the process. Its see through so I would have to team it with the silk Chloe shorts, and perhaps a leotard underneath and the shoes? Ballet pumps with white silk ribbons tied up. I would be on top of the world.

Considering the Chloe option is beautiful but I am fearful of the prospect being at the epicentre of 300 rowdy university students let leash with free drink, I may have to consider alternatives one of which is my dreamy Stella. Girl Meets Dress is a website offering designer dresses for 2 or 7 nights, a rental. I first caught site of the idea in Sex and the City's first film, Louise from St Louis Carries beautiful assistant notouriously rentals her Louise Vouitton! I have my eye on a bright orange Stella McCartney, http://hire.girlmeetsdress.com/products/ashop-dress long at the back, short at the front? This idea I seem to remember first hit magazines with Kate Moss, the belle who wore a smacking Marc Jacobs for her birthday in 2008. I would team it with a smacking pair of heels, a back up pair of ballet shoes, essential for dancing I can't bear people who just stand on the dance floor sway from side to side because they simply refuse to reveal there real height? Apart from the dress code, dancing is my favourite part of the night. My nails will be minxed, hair in a massive Carrie inspired bun and make up courtesy of my muse Miss Swanepoel. X
