Yogis Anonymous

Im feeling inspired. Although my blog tends to lean towards fashion related pieces taking objective in my life, I am however currently in total awe of the effect yoga has had on my life since I started practicing on a regular basis last year. I was living in Santa Monica, LA lunching with my mother who came to visit me for the weekend and stumbled across a little courtyard on my usual walk home, I spotted some 'yummy mummy's' equipped with yoga mats chuckling as they left an open studio munching on home baked cookies. It is here I found Aly Hamilton and discovered YOGIS ANONYMOUS. For the next few months this studio became my haven, sanctuary place of love. My friend Robert is leaving today to discover this place and I trust he will be impacted by it in a similar way to myself. To any of you fellow yogis out there looking to find an inner peace check out Aly's website http://www.yogisanonymous.com/about.htm here you can watch live stream videos and witness the love and devotion.

Yoga clothes are also something I find extreme comfort in, I found a sweaty betty cropped cotton organic jersey with yoga track pants last year and for the first few months of owning the pair I found it practically unbearable to wear anything else. Your body just oozes security in soft loving clothes. I don't think men appreciate what girls have to physically go through in order to pull of daily living fashion items. Tights are a personal killer for me I find them unbearably uncomfortable but my do they look fabulous? Especially parisian back lined wolford stockings...mmmmmmmmm. Stella McCartney does an AMAZING Adidas range but obviously it can break the budget so for less extravagant purchases I recommend sweaty betty and kings road sporting club. Namaste
